Community Living Support Services

Providing residential and outreach supports to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and have developmental delays

Program Information

CLSS offers support in its residential group home and individual support homes, as well as in personal home settings that focus on:

Self-Esteem & Confidence: Building self-worth and confidence by recognizing individual strengths and abilities
Emotional wellbeing: Improving coping skills and focusing on happiness and safety
Physical wellbeing: Encouraging positive health and lifestyle
Life Skills: In-home training on skills like meal planning, budgeting, and household tasks based on personal needs
Community Support: Helping access medical, financial, vocational, and recreational resources

Language & Social Skills: helping develop communication and social skills in everyday settings
Interpersonal Relationships: Encouraging healthy relationships with family and friends and expanding opportunities for connections and social networks
Rights & Responsibilities: Increasing awareness of individual rights and duties as active, valued citizens
Social Inclusion: Promoting community activities and participation
